B. N. P. G. College - Admission
 
arow Only those who are interested in regular studies, believe in discipline and want to become responsible citizens should apply for admission.
arow Admission of students in the college will be done strictly on merit, according to the policy laid down by the Commissioner, College Education, Rajasthan.
arow Application forms regarding admission will be processed in Room No. 21.
arow If admission is granted by the Admission Committee, the fee will be deposited in Room No. 20 or as directed by the Principal.
arow The minimum eligibility percentages for admission to I year TDC Commerce, Arts and Science are 48°,%, 48% and 50% respectively. For M.A. / M.Com.(Prev.)and M.Sc.(Prev.) 48% and 55°~o respectively, in aggregate or in the subject applied for, are required. However, the minimum eligibility percentage for candidates belonging to states other than Rajasthan for all classes of UG and PG is 60%.
arow Admission to 1st year TDC will be granted as per subject wise vacancies only. There will be up to 80 students in each section of Arts & Commerce and up to 70 students in each section of Science.
arow There is a provision of relaxation of 3% in the minimum eligibility percentage. Therefore, candidates with lower percentage may also be admitted, if seats are vacant in a section.
arow SC / ST 1 OBC candidates will get relaxation in minimum eligibility percentage. as per government norms (i.e. they can be admitted at 36%).
arow Seats are reserved for SC(16%), ST(12%), OBC non-creamy layer (21%), Handicapped (3%) and Kashmiri displaced (1%) students as per government rules. However, if seats remain vacant in reservation quota, they will be filled from the general category.
arow Girls will be given special relaxation in fee.
arow Candidates appearing in supplementary examination should also obtain provisional admission to the next higher class before the last date. failing which they will not be admitted. There is no relaxation in attendance for such students.
arow Admissions may be closed before the last date if the prescribed number of seats are filled up.
arow If a student is employed, he / she should enclose a certificate from the employer. (A No Objection Certificate, should invariably be enclosed.)
arow Students seeking admission to M.A./M.Com. or M.Sc.(Prev.) should give the order of their preference of subjects.
arow No student who has attained the age of 26 years on 1St July of the admission year shall be given admission to the M.A.; M.Com./ M.Sc. Previous class, except woman or Teacher candidate. SC/ST candidates are eligible for 5 years age relaxation in such cases.
arow Students seeking admission will have to opt from only those subjects which are taught in this college with their respective combinations.
arow Students can change his / her subject(s) / faculty only once before 31 July 2008 (if seats are vacant) by applying in writing to the Principal and depositing Rs.50.
arow Fee once deposited will not be refunded.
arow Foreign students seeking admission for the first time will have to submit an Eligibility Certificate from the Registrar, MLS University, Udaipur.
arow If there is a police case against any student, he / she will not be eligible for admission till acquitted. Students suspended in the previous year will not be given admission.
arow If the conduct and character of a student is deemed to have been undesirable. he ; she will be denied admission. If at any time a student is found indiscipline, his / her admission may be cancelled and action will be taken against him/her.
arow For availing merit weight for admission, attested photocopies of relevant certificates should be enclosed. The original certificates will have to be produced for verification at the time of finalizing the admission.

arow A student can participate in any of the extra-curricular activities viz. NCC. NSS, Rovering and games and sports. He/She should contact the professor-in-charge of the activity concerned on the notified dates for his ; her selection.
arow If a student desires any relaxation/reservation, he/she should submit a certificate to the effect from a competent authority.
arow All students are to submit one extra copy of their passport size photograph.
arow A student may be called for personal interview by the Principal before admission is granted to him/her.
arow All admissions / scholar-registrations will be checked by a high-powered committee, constituted by the Principal. Admissions will be finalized only by the Principal who will confirm the admission by putting his signature on the admission application form.
arow The Principal may deny admission to a student without assigning any reason.
arow Students should obtain a receipt from the college office for any payment made.
arow All regular students for II year TDC, 111 year TDC and P.G. (Final) classes should take admission before 30th June 2008 even if their results are not declared. Their regular classes will start as per details on our Academic Calendar.
