Only regular students will be issued library cards ,on which books will be issued to as per the following rules:- |

- P.G. students - 4 Library Cards

Each regular students will be charged Rs. 25 for the library Cards |
|
Only one book will be issued against one library card. |
|
Library Cards is non transferable .The student, on whose card the book is issued ,will be solely responsible for that book .If a book is in damaged condition ,it should be brought to the notice of the librarian .No consideration will be made afterwards in this regards. |
|
Books are issued for two weeks only. Normally, the same book will not be re-issued at the end of two weeks .under special circumstances, the student may be instructed to deposit the book into the library, even before the expiry of two week. Late fee of one rupee per day will be charged if the book is not returned in times. |

Normally the students will issue books pertaining to their subjects only. Magzines, reference books and books stamped “For use in library only “will not be issued to students. |
|
Loss of a card should, in writing, to the librarian without delay. The student will be solely responsible for the book which has been issued against that card before the report of its loss. |
|
Students should deposit their cards in the library, by 28 February every year ands obtain the “No Dues Certificate “from the librarian. |
|
A student may be denied entry into the library, if he/ she fail to show to show his/ her college I-card to the library –staff. |
|
Students will be allowed only a notebook /diary inside the library. All other items will have to be left at a reception –counter (at students own risk). |
|
Students must leave books on library table only. The staff of library will restore the books to their proper places on the racks. |
|
Complete silence and peace must be ensured in the library by everybody, so that others are not disturbed. |
|
If a Students has any grievance against any another student or staff of the library ,he /she should not argue about it in the library .Instead ,a written complaint should be submitted to the librarian (its copy should be submitted to the principal) |
|
Books and magazine of the library are a treasure trove of knowledge. Students should handle them with care and respect. |
|
If a book is damaged or lost by a student, he or she have to replace it with a new copy of the same book or else, double the price of the book will to be deposited. |
|
A student found stealing /damaging the book (s) from library will have to pay a minimum penalty of Rs. 100 in addition to the current price of the book(s0.He /she may be expelled from the college. |
|
A dictionary has been kept permanently on a separate table, near the reception counter, for use in the library. |
|
Library will be open from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on all working days. |
|
For P.G. and research students, additional library facilities are available in the reception counter, for use in library. |
|
The membership of library (for Students) will cease automatically on 28 February every year. |
|
P.G. students may be allowed to retain 2-4 books during their University examinations provided they deposit the price of these books (refundable) as security in the library. |
|
For poor students, book bank facility is available in the library. (All students passing out from the college are requested to donate their extra books to book bank for welfare of their poor and needy friends). |
