B. N. P. G. College - Code of conduct for students
 

The following codes of conduct, as well as other existing rules are to be followed sincerely by the students of college. Their violation is a punishable offence.

 
arow Student should reach their class five minutes before schedule and attend all classes regularly.
arow The notice-board should be read everyday on arrival and departure. The instructions thereon should be followed scrupulously.
arow Students must bring their own stationery articles for class.
arow Students must spend their leisure time in the library. They must observe silence in the library and not damage the books and magazines in any manner. Borrowed books must be returned in time.
arow Students must maintain discipline in their dress-code Shirt should be tucked inside the pants, all buttons of the shirt (except that of collar) should be put to use and pants and shirt should be ironed.
arow Bath-room slippers should not be used in college. “Pump” shoes or shoes with lace, should be used after proper polishing.
arow Hair and nails should be cut regularly. Students should shave daily and trim their beards, regularly. Physical hygiene should be maintained.
arow Maintain cleanliness by not littering the campus. Keep the college campus clean. Throw waste items and papers in waste-bin only. Protect the tress and lawns o the college, do not trample the lawns, pluck flowers and stick posters on the walls of college. Prevent others from damaging college property and inform college authorities about this violation by anybody promptly.
arow Do not cross over or spoil roadside lawns.
arow Do not cross or jump over the road dividers.
arow Avoid chewing betel-leaf, tobacco or gutkha.  Avoid spitting within college premises. Smoking, use of intoxicants and carrying weapons is prohibited in college. Do not dirty the walls or furniture.
arow Do not dirty the area where water (for drinking purpose) is stored, do not waste precious water.
arow Damage to movable and immovable property of the college is a punishable offence.
arow Talking to teachers with hands in pockets (or on waist), twirling the moustache while talking, sneezing loudly, yawning, shouting, or disturbing classes with loud conversation come under the category of in disciplinary behavior. Refrain from them.
arow Behave properly and respectfully with senior students; treat your junior students with affection and gentleness. Maintain decency in communication and avoid using threats arrogance in your language.
arow Help and guide strangers, in college, with courtesy and sincerity. Your courteous behavior will bring good name to college, as to your family.
arow Be careful about ‘Rules of the Road’ and your personal safety, especially while entering and leaving the campus. Walk on the left side of the college road leaving approximately 10 feet of passage for vehicular traffic.
arow Students are advised not to bring any petrol/diesel/gas-driven vehicle in college. Parents and guardians should not provide and students should not use motor vehicles within the campus. Besides being environment friendly, a bicycle is the safest, healthiest and cheapest mode of transport. College students should use bicycle for coming to and going from the college.
arow Park your vehicle at the appropriate place; do not tamper with others’ vehicles.
arow While entering the campus, please remember that you are driving in a college.
arow Please limit your vehicle speed to 15 km per hour in the campus.
arow Please do not blow the horn within the campus.
arow Always carry your college Identity card, and show it when asked to do so by staff. Entry into college may be denied in the absence o the Identity card.
arow Please do not come with or allow other friends who are not the students of this college.
arow Always remember the ‘Scholar No.’ allotted to you, and quote it in future correspondence with the college.
arow Students are advised not to bring (mobile) cell phones to college. If the cell phone instrument is not on silence mode it may be seized by the college authorities.
arow You are expected to participate in all the functions and activities of the college, in a disciplined manner and express your views gracefully. While attending any function, do not disturb or leave the function till the end.  You’re Presence in national festivals like Independence Day and Republic Day further establishes your love for your country.
arow 75% of attendance is compulsory in all subjects (theory and practical). Hence, the student must get in touch with his / her professor periodically. To be aware of the attendance. Students having short of attendance will not allow appearing in the University Examination as regular students.
arow Use of unfair means, in examinations, is an offence under “Rajasthan Anti-Copying Act, 1992”. It may result in three years’ imprisonment and/or fine of Rs. 2000. So, do not use unfair means in examinations.
arow Do not approach the Principal / Staff Member / the examiner to get you recommended for favor of marks in sessional / practical examinations. This act will be considered as “use of unfair means”.
arow Students are advised to adhere to the college discipline strictly. A student, once suspended, may not be admitted to the college again in the next year. He/ she will be issued the transfer certificate immediately. No consideration will be made by way of discussion/claim in this regard.
arow Ragging is an offence and punishable under law. Do not indulge in it. An FIR may be field against students found indulging in ragging under the ‘Prevention of Ragging Act-1992’.
arow Most of the students owe their education to the hard-earned income of their parents/guardians. Hence, do not waste away the good opportunities that come your way.
arow Time once lost is lost for ever. College years are the time to build your career. Read and learn as much as you can.
arow Always remember that you are the representative of this college, within and outside the campus. Therefore, please keep up your esteem as well as that of the college with your disciplined, cultured behavior. Preserving the repute of our “Nobles” family is your sacred responsibility.
